Who doesn't like pineapples? (they're delicious, they're a symbol for welcome and hospitality, and they make you think of Hawaii.) The answer is (almost) no one. And what makes everything better? Gold. The two combine forces for what turned out to be an AMAZING summer inspiration wedding shoot!!
I've lived in the South *almost my whole life, and the years I didn't spend there, I soaked up sun (and grad school text books) on the Big Island of Hawaii. Both places hold a special space in my heart, and I wanted to create a wedding look that weaved the formality of southern weddings with the fun and relaxed nature of the islands.
What better way to do that than with pineapples?
By giving real pineapples a small golden makeover, I aimed to give the funky fruit a more formal look in order to fit in with a classic and subtle color palette. Thus, gold + pineapple combined to create a look that has both a fun and welcoming feel with the classic, elegant look of a southern wedding.
I called on some PHENOMENAL vendors who helped me put together the exact look I had imagined. Check it out!!
