Remember, Remember the weddings of November

I will catch up on blogs. I will catch up on blogs. That's my mantra right now. As wedding season has begun, I HAVE to share the rest of my amazing 2017 weddings in order to make way for some spectacular 2018 events. Seriously, we started the year off with a BANG (literally, there were fireworks) but, before we get to that, we need to look back on three very different, but all phenomenal November 2017 weddings. I'm ready to re-live the magic, and you get ready for some serious inspiration.

Melanie and Yaël

November 3, 2017

Yaël grew up in Concord with an American father and a French Canadien mother and Melanie is from Austria. This couple planned their Ritchie Hill wedding from Vienna, Austria and brought together guests from12 nations. So that everyone would know what was going on throughout the night, announcements were made in English, French, and German. The love at this wedding was infectious, and Nicole from Boonetown Story captured all of it - just look!

Maggie and Richard

November 11, 2017

If you think a formal and traditional event can't be fun, this wedding would prove you wrong. Maggie and Richard held their black tie wedding at Christ Lutheran Church followed by a reception at Myers Park Country Club. Guests were dressed to the nines for this fantastic evening which featured a mix of eating, drinking, and SO MUCH DANCING to an absolutely rocking band. Half the ballroom was reserved as the dance floor and it was full all night long. Thanks to Christopher Record Photography for the amazing photos of the beautiful couple.

Sara and Drew

November 18, 2017

This laid back and relaxed couple tied the knot and spent their reception jamming out with friends at Olde Mecklenburg Brewery. Sara and Drew wanted a casual, fun day that didn't feel super like a wedding, while at the same time incorporating traditional elements like a cake and some fun toasts. So they started the party off with pre-ceremony drinks and a toast DURING the ceremony. The cutest part of this day though, was the groom's reaction to his gift from Sara just after their first look... a CORGI PUPPY (The Burks Photography caught all these sweet moments!).

November really was all about variety. These three weddings were all SO different, and all SO wonderful in their own ways! And this is how weddings should be; they should be all about what makes you happy as a couple.

Thanks to all you wonderful folks for trusting me with your big day, I'm so happy I could be a part of each one of them!

Best,

Libby
